Buchans Town Cars - About Us
We have been operating using the Buchans name, in Alloa since 1999. We also have the freephone numbers that you find in our local Superstores Tesco, Morrisons, Asda & Lidl.
Our Office is fitted with the latest Technology and runs a computer based Booking & Despatch system. All cars are fitted with GPRS datahead systems that enable us to track all our cars no matter where they are, this also allows us to despatch the nearest car for our hires, allowing us to get cars to our customers quicker. This highly advanced auto-cab system enables our operators to 'eliminate voice'. This means that while our customers are traveling, there is no noise transmitted from the drivers radio.
Our computer system also allows a ringback feature, that allows the customer to request the ringback service. Then when taxi arrives at the pick-up point our computer will ring your phone/mobile to alert you that the taxi is waiting outside. Main benefit for the customer being that you no longer have to wait outside in the cold and rain, you can stay inside the building until car arrives without fear of missing your taxi.
We also have a number of female drivers that are available by request.
